Tasks
- Improve backend monitoring. - Develop shared Muse services. - Maintain and develop shared PHP packages. - Improve developer infrastructure (VPS). - And other infrastructure tasks across the backend team.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (5+ years) with modern PHP (we use PHP 8.0), and the ability to make use of the language’s strengths. Ability to design and optimize relational databases (we use MySQL). - Experience with Yii2 is a plus. - Ability to independently manage projects from design through release and support. - Ability to estimate timelines, flag problems in a timely manner, and stay focused on results. - Understanding of which tasks can be solved "quickly" and which need to be solved "perfectly". - Experience optimizing PHP applications for high loads. - A love of infrastructure projects and helping other developers.
