Tasks
Our stack Python is our primary language, and we use SQL to access data. Our data lake is built on S3, Parquet, and Hive. We use Redshift/PostgreSQL as our DWH. We work in the AWS cloud infrastructure. We use solutions from mainstream vendors: Databricks, MonteCarlo, DBT. We practice a serverless approach to working with resources and horizontal scaling, and use predictive models. We focus on refactoring both code and architecture. We use TeamCity for CI/CD. Tasks - preparing data sources for the client — marketing and game analytics developing data delivery pipelines as DAG processes for Airflow - deploying forecasting and ML models to production - integrating with partner services to retrieve data from them - building data quality processes for new and existing sources
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering - Technical background in Python with 3+ years of experience: ability to design frameworks and libraries, - - - ability to read and analyze code, experience with profiling and optimizing performance/scalability - Experience with popular DE/ML frameworks: airflow, pandas, sqlalchemy, tensorflow, mlflow - Skills in writing and optimizing SQL queries, ability to work with query plans, experience with storage systems of different architectures: mpp, columnar, relation, hadoop, in-memory
