Tasks
- creating and maintaining new environments - developing and implementing automation, primarily to scale systems for peak and scheduled loads: throttling, autoscaling, load balancing - improving and developing the technical metrics collection system to better assess the performance and health of the server infrastructure for gaming projects and client applications - incident management - developing services and participating in architectural decision-making
Requirements
- relevant experience working on high-load projects for 5+ years - confident proficiency in python or golang, skills in writing complex automation - experience working with AWS: EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Kinesis, RDS, Route53, Load Balancers, API gateways, Lambda services - experience working with Docker and orchestration systems Hashicorp Nomad or Kubernetes - experience working with Linux, confident command-line proficiency, bash scripting - experience working with monitoring systems (Grafana, Statsite, Carbon, Victoria Metrics, ELK) - production backend development experience is a plus
